DILI: The President of the Republic has said Xanana Gusmão’s new political alliance must agree to govern under a system of joint congress, according to António da Conceição.

The new coalition secretary said the decision-making requirement was a priority for President Guterres, needed to pass the stalled 2020 General State Budget and guarantee sustainability of the coalition through to the end of its 2022 term.
